Does our studio have to pay anything?
No. There are no standard picture day photography fees, setup fees, or minimum sales requirements for your studio. Families purchase the photographs they want directly.
Are the Studio Partnership benefits a separate membership or fee?
No. There is no separate membership, application, or Studio Partnership fee. When your studio books a picture day with DFW Dance Photography, the Studio Partnership benefits shown on this page are automatically included at no additional cost.
Does our staff have to collect parent payments?
No. Parent photography orders and payments are handled directly through the picture day ordering process, so your staff does not have to collect or track photography payments.
How many dancers can you photograph?
Picture days can be designed around studios of different sizes. Once we know your approximate dancer count, number of costumes, groups, and available time, we can build a schedule that works for your studio.
Can dancers photograph more than one costume?
Yes. Picture day options can include multiple costumes depending on the packages and scheduling structure created for your studio.
Do you photograph group pictures too?
Yes. Group photography can be incorporated alongside individual dancer portraits and scheduled around your classes, companies, teams, or recital groups.
How much space do you need?
Space requirements depend on your largest groups and the photography setup we plan together. Before picture day, we will discuss the available space at your studio and determine the best setup and workflow.
Do you bring all of the photography equipment?
Yes. We bring the professional cameras, lighting, modifiers, backdrop setup, and other photography equipment needed for the picture day experience we have planned.
How quickly are photographs delivered?
Our typical picture day turnaround is approximately seven days. We prioritize an efficient editing and delivery process so dancers and families are not left waiting weeks or months to receive their photographs.
Do you travel outside the Dallas Fort Worth area?
Yes. DFW Dance Photography is based in the Dallas Fort Worth area, but we are available to work with dance studios throughout Texas and beyond.
Can you photograph or video our recital too?
Yes. We offer dress rehearsal photography, live performance photography, recital photography, and performance videography. Studios that book picture day with DFW Dance Photography receive priority consideration when performance dates are being scheduled.
How does the Studio Spotlight work?
Every studio that books a picture day with DFW Dance Photography may select one outstanding dancer each season to receive a complimentary private Studio Spotlight Session. The session includes up to two hours at the DFW Dance Photography studio and five professionally edited digital images, with additional images available for purchase.
When should we reserve our picture day?
The earlier the better, especially during busy spring recital season. If you already have preferred dates or know approximately when you normally schedule picture day, reach out early so we can discuss availability and planning.
