The DFW Dance Photography Ambassador Program is a 12 month creative experience for dancers who are excited to create, connect and represent a photography brand built specifically around the dance community.
Throughout the year, Ambassadors receive personalized studio sessions, priority booking, exclusive creative opportunities, rewards and the freedom to help shape imagery around their own movement, personality and ideas.
We are building a community of dancers who genuinely enjoy creating together and are excited to be part of DFW Dance Photography.

Two Private Studio Sessions
Two personalized Ambassador photography sessions held exclusively at the DFW Dance Photography studio in Arlington, Texas. Both included sessions are studio only and cannot be substituted for outdoor, on location, travel, or other off site sessions.
Professional Imagery
Receive professionally edited photographs from your Ambassador sessions to enjoy and share.
Priority Access
Ambassador members receive priority access to available session dates throughout the season.
Creative Opportunities
Be considered for additional themed, experimental and Ambassador-only opportunities throughout the year. These are separate from your two included studio sessions and may occasionally take place at another location selected by DFW Dance Photography.

There’s No One Type of DFWDP Ambassador.
Our Ambassador Team is made up of dancers with different styles, strengths, personalities and experiences. We’re interested in the whole person, not one perfect mold.
You don’t need to be the best dancer in the room or have the biggest following. We’re looking for dancers who are passionate, creative and genuinely excited to create.

Dallas–Fort Worth Area
Dancers throughout DFW are welcome to apply as long as they are able to travel to our Arlington studio.

Here are a few things families and dancers often want to know before deciding whether the Ambassador Program could be a good fit.
How old do I need to be?
Applicants must be at least 10 years old for the 2026 / 2027 Ambassador season.
Do I have to live in Arlington?
No. Dancers from throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth area are welcome to apply. Both included Ambassador sessions take place exclusively at the DFW Dance Photography studio in Arlington, Texas, so applicants must be able and willing to travel to the studio for both sessions.
Can my included Ambassador sessions be outdoors or on location?
No. Both included Ambassador sessions are private studio-only sessions held exclusively at the DFW Dance Photography studio in Arlington, Texas. They cannot be substituted for outdoor, on-location, travel, or other off-site photography sessions. Optional Ambassador opportunities offered separately during the season may occasionally take place at another location selected by DFW Dance Photography.
Do I need to be an advanced dancer?
No. Dance experience is considered as part of the overall application, but we are looking at much more than technique. Personality, creativity, passion, reliability and enthusiasm for the experience all matter.
Do I need a large social media following?
Absolutely not. A large following is not required, and dancers do not need their own public account. For younger dancers, participation through a parent or guardian account is welcome.
Is there a fee to join the Ambassador Program?
Yes. The 2026 / 2027 Ambassador Program investment is $399 for the full 12 month season. Complete program details are provided to accepted applicants before they decide whether to officially join the team.
What happens if I am selected?
Selected dancers and families receive a private invitation with complete program information and next steps. You will have the opportunity to review everything before completing the Ambassador agreement and program payment.
Can Ambassadors work with other photographers?
Yes. We encourage dancers to explore photography and create with other artists. These outside photography experiences are separate from your two included DFWDP Ambassador sessions. Complete guidelines regarding Ambassador representation are provided to selected dancers and families before they join.
